Paws for Reading
Geared towards readers in Pre-K to 5th grade to practice reading aloud to a certified Therapy Dog in a relaxed and non-judgmental environment.

the Knitting Club
Open to knitting and crocheting.
Meets every Thursday from 6:00-7:00pm.
Open to all ages and abilities. No registration required.

Play-K
Beaver Library’s kindergarten readiness program. Geared for children entering Kindergarten in Fall of 2025. Each session features circle time, opportunities to “play kindergarten”, and learn vital readiness skills aligned with the PA Pre-K Standards for literacy. Caregivers are asked to remain in the library during the program and return to the room at 2:30pm for a closing activity. Registration is REQUIRED for each session. MELODY THE MONKEY MUSICAL NIGHT-TIME STORY & CRAFT WITH DEBBIE
Sponsored by the Fort McIntosh chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution
1/21, 2/18, 3/18, 4/15 and 5/20 @ 6:00-7:00PM
Enjoy a 45minute musical storytime and craft for all ages. There will be a story paired with songs and dance. No registration required.

PEEP DISPLAY COMPETITION
For all ages!

Make a diorama featuring Peeps!
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 submissions.

PEN AND INK ART CLASS
April 29th from 6:00-8:00pm
$10/person and Geared toward adults.
Create Zentangles and learn to draw on ceramic surfaces - all with different ink mediums. Space is limited. Registration required. Visit or call the library to register.

AUTHOR TALK WITH LEAH PILEGGI
Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30pm
This talk is for adults and for families including kids from ages 10 and up.
Free Event. Registration preferred. Call or stop in the library to let us know you are interested in attending. "From inspiration to publication: The Life cycle of a middle-grade novel". Join our author to learn about the process of creating and publishing her historical middle-grade novel Prisoner 88.
